William C. Meade Jr.

William C. "Bill" Meade Jr., age 62, of Orange, passed away on July 14, 2024 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. He was a beloved husband, father, son, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Raised in Trumbull, CT, Bill spent his life dedicated to his family and his community. He graduated from St. Joseph's High School (Trumbull, CT) and earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University. Bill ran a successful appraisal business, Appraisal Max, out of his home for many years.

Bill was not only known for his professional accomplishments but also for his exceptional athletic ability. A high school and college standout in both baseball and football, he was recently honored with induction into St. Joseph High School’s Football Hall of Fame, a testament to his skill and dedication on the field.

Above all, Bill will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He is predeceased by his father, William Meade and survived by his mother, Patricia Meade, his devoted wife Susan Meade, his loving children William and Amanda Meade, and his adored grandchildren Mac and Harper. He leaves behind a wide circle of friends and relatives who cherished his friendship and admired his character.

Friends are invited to join the family for his funeral services on Friday July 19, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
