Walter Robert Lucas

 Walter Robert Lucas, age 75, of Monroe, CT passed away on Thursday June 17, 2021 in his home. He was born in Bridgeport, CT  and was a lifelong area resident. He retired from Jelliff Corp in Fairfield after many years of service. Walter was a car enthusiast, he was a winner at multiple car shows, including the prestigious Greenwich Concours Elegance. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Walter was predeceased by his father Walter Victor Lucas. Survivors include his beloved wife Mimi Lucas of Monroe; his mother Martha Lucas of Monroe; his sister Janet Orloski and her husband Joseph of Oxford and his nephew Joseph Orloski. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford, CT. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Sloan Kettering.
