Thomas M. Kennedy

Thomas M. Kennedy "Tommy", age 48, of Shelton, CT, passed away in his home August 16, 2023. Born on March 27, 1975 in Bridgeport, CT, residing in Shelton for many years and leaving us too soon.  Tommy is remembered for his kind heart and fun-loving ways. He was a great friend with a gentle soul. He had a great love for all animals, especially the dogs he rescued who became his full-fledged family members. Tommy was an incredible musician, with a passion for all music genres, playing multiple instruments, singing, song writing; and, even building his own guitar! His artistic talents also extended to painting, photography, writing poems and cooking. Saying Tommy was multi-talented is an understatement.  He was an avid reader with an extraordinary thirst for all kinds of knowledge.  Highly intelligent, a deep thinker who was always up for a good debate. He enjoyed many things including playing pool, riding motorcycles, snowboarding and was quite the handiman. Tommy's sense of adventure led him to live in various parts of the country always seeking new experiences and picking up new hobbies. 

He is survived by his loving mother, his rock, Evelyn Kennedy Pellino (Tony) of Shelton, CT and his Father, Thomas R. Kennedy (Marcia) of Lincoln, NE.  His sisters Karen (Mike) Frederick, Kathy (David) Martin and Cyndie (Todd) Baker. His many cherished nieces and nephews: Eddie, Luke, Katelyn, Brantley, Josh, Aaron, Hayley, Jessie, Jake and Allie. His great nieces and nephews and his Aunt Pat. He also leaves behind his beloved dog "son", Harley. 

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Monday, August 21^st at Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 22^nd at 3:00 PM at New Life Church, 28 Hedgehog Road, Trumbull, CT. Internment will be at a later date in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to your local animal shelter.
