Susan F. Quinn

 
Susan (Sue) F. Quinn, age 79, of Shelton, CT passed away January 13, 2026. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Leon and Evelyn McDonald. Sue graduated from Notre Dame High School in Fairfield and St. Raphael School of Nursing in New Haven.  As a registered nurse she worked at St. Raphael Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, and the Bridgeport Visiting Nurse Association where she met her husband Bob, while caring for his grandmother. 

Her interests included gardening and a special penchant for min-pin and chihuahua rescues. She was an animal lover through and through.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years Robert T. Quinn of Shelton, CT and brother-in-law, Thomas Quinn of Milfod, CT and a nephew. She also leaves behind her beloved chihuahua mix rescue, Millie.

She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Hakey and brother-in-law Robert Hakey, both of Milford, CT.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton, CT Interment will be private. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
