Steve Husarick Jr.

Steve Husarick, Jr. age 82, of Naugatuck, CT, passed away unexpectedly in his home on November 19, 2023. He was born in Holden, WV on September 5, 1941 to the late Rawse (Gilman) and Steve Husarick. As a young man he relocated to Connecticut where he found work at GE, Remington Arms, and a few other local companies. Later he started his own business, Southside Auto Body in Bridgeport. Steve resided in Trumbull with his family for 34 years before moving to Naugatuck, CT. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, spending time with family and was a long-time NY Giants fan. 

Steve was predeceased by his beloved wife of 30 years, Vera (Arlia) Husarick, and brothers Rush Sheppard, Peter and Eugene Husarick. He is survived by his devoted daughter Donna and her husband Bill Butterworth, four loving grandchildren, Lindsay(Butterworth) and her husband Deni Rullo, Jennifer, Matthew, and Justin Butterworth; two great grandchildren Alaina and Giovanni; his brother Richard L. Husarick, three sisters Kay and her husband Clyde Akers, Catherine and her husband Ed Dmitruk, Minnie Bumgarner, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:15 a.m. at Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, CT.  Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
