Stephen Thomas Symski, age 61, of Shelton, passed away April 12, 2020 in CT Hospice, Branford, CT. Mr. Symski was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Stephen and Ann Symski. He worked for Federal Express for many years in vehicle maintenance.Tom grew up in Trumbull, and raised his family in Shelton. He served as cubmaster of pack 24, and a Scout Leader of Troop 101, where he loved to cook, and was legendary for his french fries and pulled pork. He is survived by his devoted wife Nancy (Foster) Symski; his sons Stephen A. Symski (Emily) and Daniel Symski; his daughter Rachel Symski, his grandaughter Cherylyn Symski, his sisters Shirley Mayo (Richard), Patricia Barnes (James), Kathleen Vrabel (Art); nieces and nephews Stephen Gudaitis, Alicia Beninati, Jay Brennan and Katelyn Vrabel; great nieces and great nephews Noah, Autumn and Sawyer Beninati; his devoted friends, and his extended scouting family from Troop 101 and Housatonic Council. Due to the current health situation a memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Pains Rd. Trumbull.
