Simon Y. Musallam, age 77, of Shelton, CT, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025. Born in Palestine, he was the son of the late Youssef and Katerina Musallam.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Nouhad Chamoun Musallam; his loving daughter, Linda Musallam-Zabaneh, and her husband, Ehaab Zabaneh; and his cherished granddaughters, Jasmine (13) and Zeina (4), the apples of his eyes, whom he loved so deeply.
Simon also leaves behind his dear siblings: Janette Abeid; Jacob Musallam and his wife, Laila; and Nabil Musallam and his wife, Rima. He is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and treasured cousins, whose daily phone calls brought him happiness, hope, and the constant reminder that he was deeply loved and thought of.
Throughout his life, Simon relied on his deep faith, continually asking God to infuse him with strength and to guide him through life’s most difficult journeys. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his delight in life’s simple pleasures, and the special bond he shared with his granddaughters.
May his memory be eternal, and may he rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
