Scot Flewelling

On Thursday, December 2, 2021, Bryan Scot (Scot) Flewelling, loving husband, father of three, brother and son, passed away at the age of 58 in Yale New Haven Hospital.

Scot was born on October 2, 1963, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Barry Flewelling and Thelma (Shafer) Flewelling and was a longtime Trumbull, Connecticut resident. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware in 1986 and began his career at Price Waterhouse in Baltimore, Maryland.  He spent the majority of his professional career with TOMRA in Connecticut.  On October 8, 1988, he married Mary Carol Flewelling (Haase).  Together they raised a daughter, Katherine and two sons, Charles Bryan (Bryan), and William Kevin (Kevin).

Scot was always on the go and he had an infectious sense of humor.  He wanted nothing more than for everyone around him to be happy.  He had a giant and empathetic heart.  It hurt him to see others suffer and he would do anything to help.  Scot had many passions.  He loved music, photography, the outdoors, art, Monopoly, spending time with his family, and animals.  He loved sharing his passions and you could not help but love the things he did.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Mary Carol, his three children, Kate , Bryan , and Kevin, his brother Kevin (Brian Manubay) and sister Krista (Jason Urbaniak), his mother Thelma Flewelling (William Hummer), and father Barry Flewelling (Linda).  He also leaves to cherish his memory 2 nieces and 4 nephews.  Finally, Scot’s dog, Mia will miss him greatly.

Friends and family are invited to greet the family on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. (Masks are required). Private service for family only to follow at 2:00 p.m.
