Ruth Harvey Liptak

Ruth Arlene ( Harvey) Liptak, age 90, of Trumbull, passed away November 28,2022.
Mrs. Liptak was born in Bridgeport, CT. on April 17, 1932, daughter of the late William and Nan Harvey. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Edward Joseph Liptak. She was also predeceased by her brother Thomas Harvey and sister Barbara McGuire.
Ruth graduated from Central High School in 1950 and in her early years worked in retail at Read’s Department Store in Bridgeport , CT.  Ruth and Edward were married in 1956 and moved from Black Rock to Fairfield in 1962. Ruth was a devoted housewife and mother whose most cherished years were spent raising her sons and spending time with her family and many friends. She and her husband Edward were long time members of the Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield CT, where Ruth was a member of the Woman’s Golf Club for many years.  
She is survived by her two sons, Paul Edward Liptak of Shelton, Melissa Gilmore, and David Joseph Liptak and his wife Janette of NYC, her sister Nancy Fettig, five cherished grandchildren:  Annabelle , Ava, Alexander, Kyle and Julianna , and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday Dec 10,2022 at 10:00am at Nichols United Methodist Church, 35 Shelton Rd. Trumbull, CT.. Interment to follow in Nichols Village Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT..
