Rose C. Love

Our beloved mother, Rose Clara Love (born Clara Rose Bagnoli), formerly of Monroe, CT peacefully left for heaven at the age of 92 on July 17, 2021, to join her husband of 61 years, Jim H. Love. Rose was the daughter of the late Leo Bagnoli and Luisa Catalano Bagnoli of New York. 

In addition to her husband, Rose was predeceased by her sister, Concetta America DeLuca and her brother, Mauro Bagnoli.  She is survived by her 7 loving children and their families: Vincent J. Love and wife Miriam, son, Christopher and his wife, Sabrina and their children, Scarlett and Callan, daughter, Johanna and her fiancé Ryan; Rhea Love Doran and husband, Jeff, daughter Anna and her daughters, Luna and Stella, daughter Phoebe and son, James and his wife Jasmine; Francesca Love Lacerenza and husband, Joseph and their daughter Caroline and her husband, Zach and son Peter;  Rosanna P. Love and partner, Jack McGrath and her children Emerson, Bryce and Arielle; Regina M. Love and her children, Victoria and her husband, Colin, Nicholas and Jessica; James Hogan Love and wife, Beth and their sons, Michael and Matthew and his fiancée Julia; Philip B. Love and wife Pam and their daughter, Clara and son, Griffin.  

As a first- generation Italian, Mom was proud of her Italian heritage.  Mom’s life was her family and friends.  She was particularly close to Anne Oakley and Eleanor Taravella; her life-long friends of more than 80 years.

Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jude's Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe, CT. Interment will be private.
