Ronald E. Gowing

Ronald Edward Gowing, age 72, of Shelton, CT passed away July 8, 2025. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Ward and Pauline Gowing.  He was a member of United Association Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 777. Ronnie’s biggest passions were going out to dinner with Laura, traveling to Cape Cod, and visiting Sturbridge Village. He was always low-key, and was happy completing crossword puzzles, mastering Sudokus, listening to music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and playing his guitar. He also appreciated a good bottle of Merlot. 

Survivors include his beloved wife Laura Gowing, his brother Ward Gowing and his wife Linda of Stratford, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Linda and Joseph Paslov, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
