Ronald J. Dayton Sr.

Ronald J. Dayton Sr., age 76, of Trumbull, passed away April 20, 2024. He was born in Newtown, CT to the late David and Mary Dayton.

 He was a retired mechanic for the Town of Trumbull. He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
 Ron, also known as  “Pops” enjoyed antique cars, fishing, camping, and spending time with cherished friends. He was a jack of all trades and found joy tinkering in and out of his garage. He will be missed. 

 Ron was predeceased by his wife, June Alice (Botsford) Dayton and his brother David Dayton Jr. 

Survivors include his children; Wesley Dayton and his wife Heather, Kim Dayton, Brian Dayton and his wife Stacey, and Ronald J. Dayton Jr. and his wife, Michelle; his sisters Ethel Meadows and Frances Bombero and her husband Ron; seven grandchildren Wade, Cooper, Wesley, Abbey, Clara, Hannah and Ava and several nieces and nephews.
