Roger Tiberio, age 75, of Trumbull, passed away February 11, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was a longtime Trumbull resident.
Roger proudly served in the United States Army. His greatest passion was helping others, primarily as an EMT in Trumbull EMS for 40 years. Over this time, he came to love TEMS members as his second family. While volunteering for many years on the ambulance, Roger worked in sales with his last job being at Frito Lays before he retired from there and fully devoted his time to Trumbull EMS. Roger continued to work on the ambulance until November 2020. His biggest hope these past few months was to return back to his patients and EMS family. If he wasn't at EMS, he could be found watching Yankee games or playing cards.
Survivors include his beloved wife Dolores (Veilleux) Tiberio. Roger was incredibly proud of his children - his two sons Roger Tiberio Jr (wife Jodi) of Woodstock, Georgia and James Tiberio (wife Alyssa) of Stratford, Connecticut, and his daughter Jillian Tiberio of Trumbull, Connecticut who followed in his example of service as an EMT and Emergency RN. - three cherished grandsons - Jake, Braden, Joshua and cherished granddaughter Kadee, his brother Raymond Tiberio (wife MaryAnn), his sister-in-laws Barbara Pesavento and Susanne Veilleux and many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Russell and Robert Tiberio, his sister Lucille Romano, his father Russell Tiberio Sr, and Mother Lucy (Tavano) Tiberio and his brother-in-law Ronald Veilleux.
Roger and his family extends their appreciation and gratitude to everyone who generously contributed to his GoFundMe page during his illness.
