Robert R. Wicklund Sr.

Robert R. Wicklund Sr., age 75, of Monroe, CT passed away February 28, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Arnold Sr. and Edith Wicklund. Mr. Wicklund was a retired electrician and carpenter. He enjoyed making furniture which included a bassinet, a toy highchair, toys, cabinets and tool boxes for his family. Mr. Wicklund also enjoyed boating and was a lifetime member of the East End Yacht Club. He will be greatly missed by his family. 

Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Maureen Jordan Wicklund, three children Robert R. Wicklund Jr. and his wife Laura of Oxford, Colleen Gabriel and her husband Donald of Monroe, and Scott Wicklund of Morris, his niece Eileen Richardson and her husband John of Milford, his sisters Dorothy Sciortino and her husband Michael of Trumbull, Ardith Skeens and her husband John of Florida and Arnold Wicklund Jr. and his wife Goodie of Colorado; cherished grandchildren Jordan, Ryan, Gavin, Graham, Gillian, Cara, Joey, and Julie, his great granddaughter Charlotte and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sister Jo Ann Carlson, and his brothers Raymond and Kenneth Wicklund.

Friends and family are to pay their respects on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. St. Stephen's Church, Trumbull, CT. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
