Robert Lawrence Gould

Beloved husband of Karen Vrabel Delfino Gould, Robert Lawrence Gould, age 74, of Sanibel, FL and formerly of CT, passed away May 20, 2024 in St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Harry and Thelma Gould.

Robert attended the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He owned and operated Corkscrew Liquor store at the Hawley Lane Mall in Trumbull, CT for 19 years, before changing careers and becoming a real estate developer and builder. He was a kind, caring, charismatic, witty and loving family man.  

He is survived by four devoted children Sarah A. Gould Chiarelli of NY, Renee B. Gould Mallozzi and her husband Claudio of CT; Dr. Matthew J. Delfino, Jr. and his partner Kelsey M. McAbee of SC, and Roxanne V. Delfino and her partner Tim Mueller of CA; brother Paul Gould and his wife Jenni, sisters Cheryl Silkoff and her husband Alan and Joan Roth and her husband Robert, 11 grandchildren, Aoui, Hailey, Collin, Max, Gianna, Clay, Brayden, Leila, Jackson, Quila, and Auna, sister-in-law Maryann Beckett and her husband Tom of NH, several nieces and nephews, and the mother of his daughters Sarah and Renee, Cheryl DiCamillo Gould. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
