Robert Wayne Baber

Robert Wayne Baber, age 71, of Trumbull, CT passed away June 9, 2023. He was born in Decatur, IL to the late Neil E. and Dorothy Baber. He was also predeceased by his step mother Mardelle Baber. 

Robert’s occupations included: an Aviation Fuel Truck driver, Bus Driver, Survival Instructor with the US Air Force, Teacher, Track Coach, Salesman, and finally a Business Owner. His Hobbies included gardening, fantasy football, reading, fishing, hiking, traveling, and cheering on his grandchildren. His interests spanned across many topics, always in search of knowledge. He was a champion trivia player, loved with his whole heart and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his beloved fiance Virginia (Ginny) McNamara; two loving children Matthew and his wife Sheila Baber, Kelcie and her husband Andrew Higgins; two brothers Gary and Mark Baber and four cherished grandchildren; Matthew and Vivien Baber, Taylor and Blakely Higgins.

Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday, June 17, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT.

Interment to follow in Nichols Village Cemetery.  Friends may also pay their respects on Friday June 16th from 4-7 p.m.
