Penelope A. Capron, 78 years old, of Bethany, passed away in her home on June 12, 2021. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Earl Capron and her parents John and Enid (Hasnip) Keel.
She is survived by her three children, Michael Head and his wife Uschi of Springboro Ohio, Deborah Corwel and her husband Michael of Oxford Connecticut, and Louise Keyser and her husband Robert of Palm City Florida, seven grandchildren and many friends.
Penny was born August 6th, 1942 in Brislington, England and moved to the United States in 1966. She lived in Trumbull most of her life before moving to Bethany. She enjoyed listening to Dixieland Jazz and traveling to New Orleans and other places in the United States and Europe, even going from London to Venice on the Orient Express.
She worked for some time as a Dental Assistant, but would come to devote herself to providing day care for children at the Saint Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church in Naugatuck. Penny greatly enjoyed hosting family gatherings especially on holidays and once said that her idea of heaven was having her family together at Christmas.
Family and friends are invited to attend her gravesite service on Friday June 18th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nichols Farm Burial Ground, Cemetery Road, Trumbull. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church in Naugatuck.
