Patricia Katherine Seymour

Patricia Verrilli Seymour, age 70, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Monday March 12, 2018. She is survived by her husband Dale Seymour of Trumbull, her daughter Stephanie Snyder of Susanville, California and her brother Terrance Lucas of Stratford, CT. She is also survived by her step-daughters Allison Abate (Richard) of Reading, MA; Catherine Finlayson (Russell) of Milford, CT; Colleen Morrison (Samuel) of Milford, CT; and Marcella Kiernan (Andrew) of Jupiter, FL.
She was loved and cherished by her eight grandchildren: Avery and Jillian Abate; Alana and Brooks Finlayson; Callie and Alex Morrison and Drew and John Dale Kiernan and was thrilled to be their "Nonnie".
Born in Bridgeport in 1947 to Joseph Verrilli and Clara Gemignani Verrilli, Patti graduated from Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT and Trinity College in Washington, DC. A quiet, gentle pleasant and creative woman, she excelled in  and thoroughly enjoyed arts and crafts.  Patti was a true animal lover, a dear friend to many and a loving and caring family member. She joined the Nichols Garden Club in 2004 and would spend many hours making beautiful holiday arrangements for their annual Christmas sale. Patti generously knitted comfort scarves for cancer patients, made hats and mittens  for the needy and volunteered at the Mercy Center in Bridgeport tutoring women in English as a second language.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull. Interment in Nichols Village Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
