Patricia Bartolo Haynes

It is with a heavy heart that Patricia (Bartolo) Haynes, age 84, of Trumbull passed away on April 15, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Norwalk to the late Edward and Margaret Bartolo.

Patricia met the love of her life, Wesley Haynes, on a blind date in 1958. What began as a chance meeting quickly grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married in 1960. Together, they built not only a life but a shared commitment to hard work and community.

After many years of working alongside her husband in his business, Patricia went on to become the proud owner of her own successful venture, Hope Chest Consignment Boutique. She found great joy in her work there, creating a welcoming space that reflected her personality and brought happiness to so many.

Patricia had a vibrant spirit and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. She was happiest enjoying a good cup of coffee, playing BINGO, spending time with her beloved dogs, or taking the occasional trip to the casino. Her kindness, quick wit, and welcoming nature made her unforgettable to all who met her. She had a special way of making people feel seen and at ease, leaving a lasting impression wherever she went.

Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving husband Wesley, three children; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one sibling.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Matthew's Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk,CT. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Norwalk, CT
