Patricia Sullivan Giannini

Patricia Ann (Sullivan) Giannini, age 74, of Woodbridge, CT passed away April 13, 2023 in her home. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Edward and Marie Sullivan. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years Daniel Giannini, devoted children Alyssa Mahoney (Matthew) and Craig Giannini, two cherished grandchildren Dylan and Kyla Mahoney, sister Rita Krodel, brother Michael Sullivan (Lynne), as well as nieces and nephews, Lauren Francese (Michael), Ryan Sullivan, Kara Striebe (Matthew), Adam Noia, Timothy Noia (Rachel), Rachel Galas, Andrea Giannini (Brodie Jukes), and Lisa Giannini. 

Pat earned a bachelor's degree from Sacred Heart University and advanced degrees from University of Bridgeport. She spent over 30 years as a dedicated and passionate educator teaching middle and high school English and Reading, while advising numerous clubs and activities throughout the West Haven Public Schools. In her retirement, she found tremendous joy in long walks with friends, book clubs, yoga, travel, and shopping adventures. She happily filled her social calendar with quality time with her husband, family, and friends.

 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 81 Center Rd. Woodbridge, CT. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Smile Train (donate.smiletrain.org).
