Mary Ann Baehr

Mary Ann Baehr, age 95, formerly of Trumbull, CT, passed away September 17, 2024. She was born in Waterbury, CT to the late Robert and Mary Brown and everyone knew her as "Marilyn".  She graduated from St. Raphael's School of Nursing, class of 1951. She was a retired nurse, having worked at St. Vincent's Medical Center for many years. Marilyn had many interests, but what she loved most was the company of her family, friends and neighbors, of which there were many!

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Dr. George B. Baehr Jr. and her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Ann Brown.

She is survived by four children: George R. Baehr and wife Paddy, Thomas J. Baehr and wife Susan, Steven L. Baehr and wife Lisa, and Margaret Jorgensen and husband Kevin; eight grandchildren: George, Merri and husband Akbar Dhanaliwala, David and wife Jessica Baehr, Robert and wife Kate Baehr, Rebecca, Rachel and husband Jeff Kitts, Kristina and husband Keith Keiser, and Kevin R. Jorgensen; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT. At the request of the family, calling hours have been omitted.
