Marilyn Elizabeth Barker

Marilyn Elizabeth (Rottler) Barker, age 87 of Trumbull, passed away on September 18. She was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. 

Marilyn was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Catherine’s.  She loved spending time and traveling with family and enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and pickleball. 
She is survived by her 3 sons, Michael Barker and Jennifer Castello; Brian Barker; and Kyle Barker and his wife Erika;  her daughter Elizabeth Balanis and her husband Roderick; her brother Robert Rottler of West Hartford; her grandchildren; Alex and his wife Lisa, Nolan, Kieran, Jeanne, Drew, Luke, and Teddy;  and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lowell; sister Georgeann and her husband Robert Parkes and sister-in-law Patricia Rottler. 

Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m.  at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 190 Shelton Rd. Trumbull, Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery.  Friends are invited to greet the family on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.  at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
