Margot Lucie Pearsall

Margot Lucie Berg, age 91, of Bridgeport, CT passed away on March 24, 2025. She was born in Berlin, Germany, daughter of the late George and Elsa Berg. She met her husband Charles, while he was stationed in Berlin with the US Army. They married in Berlin and thereafter came to the United States. They settled in Brooklyn, NY where she would live most of her life. Margot worked for Abraham Strauss department store. She worked there for over 25 years as a credit supervisor. She enjoyed cooking, knitting and sewing. She made beautiful clothing for herself and children even making clothes for her daughter's dolls. She lived near the beach in Brooklyn and enjoyed meeting her friends on the boardwalk where they would participate in activities and weekend dances. In 2020 Margot moved to CT to be closer to her daughter. She is survived by her two devoted daughters Carol Borwick and Linda Scarpa; a loving grandmother to Lauren, Michael, Lisa, and Mikey; she has four cherished great-grandchildren, Brandon, Pheobe, Violet, and Nikolette. She was predeceased by her son in-law Barry Borwick and Jack Margulies her companion for 30 years. She will be greatly missed by her family.
