Margaret Vaugh

Margaret M. Vaugh, age 81, of Milford formerly of Trumbull passed away on June 27, 2022 at her home. Peggy was a resident of Trumbull , and has also lived in Bridgeport and Milford. She was born September 28, 1940 to the late Vincent and Mary Vaugh. She was a graduate of Lauralton Hall and Southern CT State University earning her Master's degree at Fairfield University. Peggy taught for 35 years in Bridgeport and for 1 year in Australia. She enjoyed reading, theater, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to many countries around the world. She was a volunteer for many yeas at St. Vincent's Medical Center and was a lifetime member of the Greater Bridgeport Retired Teacher's Association. She is survived by cousins and many good friends. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Merton House, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, or Swim Across the Sound. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Catherine of Siena Church 190 Shelton Rd. Trumbull . Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
