Leigh Ann Stevenson

Leigh Ann Stevenson, age 78, a homemaker and lifelong resident of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2024.  She was born in Rochester, NY, to the late Jacque L. and Dorothy G. Wilson.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward Robert Stevenson.

She is survived by her loving children Laurie and her husband Duke Morano of Trumbull, Tracy and her husband Michael Willsher of Branford and Bruce E. Stevenson of Seymour; six cherished grandchildren Austin and Parker Morano, Amanda and Jacob Lucas and Matthew and Michael Stevenson; one beloved great granddaughter Mila Grace Martinez and her faithful canine companion Zoey.  Leigh Ann also held a special place in heart for all of her "special children '' including her nieces, nephews, cherished godchildren and neighborhood kids.  If you truly knew Leigh Ann, she lived whole heartedly for her children and grandchildren as she was always vested in all aspects of their lives. 

We would also like to extend our immense gratitude to Dr. Michael Cohenuram, the entire staff at Smilow Cancer Hospital in Trumbull/Fairfield, and most importantly the Nurses at CT Hospice of Branford for the kindness and compassion they have shown our mom and entire family through this difficult time.  It has given us a sense of peace and allowed our loved one to transition with dignity and grace.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT.

Friends may pay their respects from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Private burial to immediately follow in Nichols Village Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice of Branford, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
