Josephine C. Machalowski

Josephine C. Machalowski, age 95, of Monroe CT, passed away November 5, 2024 in her home. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Salvatore and Agata Scaduto. She married her beloved husband Franklin A. Machalowski in 1949. She and her husband lived in Shelton, Trumbull and Newtown before moving to Monroe in 1952. Josephine was a very faith filled woman who was active in her church, the Calvary Evangelical Free Church in her earlier years.

 
 In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by her two children Janet Bair and her husband James and Thomas Machalowski; two loving grandchildren Joanna Bair and Emily Vieira and her husband Paulo; and four cherished grandchildren Amadeus, Eva, Justus and Kalani.

She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were private. Burial was in Long Hill Cemetery. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Nov 29, 2024 at Harvest Christian Center, 302 Soundview Ave., Shelton, CT from 6-7 pm.
