Joseph R. Krevis

Joseph Richard Krevis, age 82, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Jean Wallace Krevis for almost 60 years, passed away July 11, 2022 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mr. Krevis was born in Mahanoy City, PA and was a longtime Bridgeport resident. He was a retired police officer for the City of Bridgeport. 

Mr. Krevis was an avid golfer for many years.  He was a sports enthusiast, who enjoyed watching the UConn Women’s Basketball and the New York Yankees. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, never missing his grandsons’ games. His energy and quick wit will be greatly missed. He is survived by his two devoted daughters Gerri Potash, Arleen Alessie and her husband Michael Alessie and two cherished grandchildren Michael and Joseph Alessie.  

Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
