Jose Rodrigues

Jose Rodrigues, age 90, of Shelton, CT,  passed away peacefully, June 16, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born in São Miguel Island, Azores Portugal to the late Jose Rodrigues and Hortencia Carvalho. He retired from Handy and Harmon as a roll room operator after many years of service. Mr. Rodrigues and his late wife Marie were founding members of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Bridgeport.  He  was very proud of the 3 homes that he and his wife built. His passion was carpentry, gardening and planting fruit trees for his family and loved making wine for many years. He will be greatly missed. 
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Marie (Bandanza) Rodrigues.
Survivors include his two sons, Joseph and his wife Isabel Rodrigues of Bridgeport and Anthony and his wife Margaret Rodrigues of Shelton; two brothers, three sisters, five loving grandchildren Samantha Foster, Anthony, Joseph and Jeremy Rodrigues and Samantha Bernardo, seven  cherished great grandchildren Bryanna , Phaylynne, Brooke, Bennett, Scarlett, Gabriel and  Raven. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. am at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT and at 12:00 p.m.  at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Huntington Rd. Bridgeport, CT.  Entombment in St. Michael's Mausoleum.  
Friends and family may call Tuesday morning between 10a.m. and 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
