John (Jack) Daley Jr.

John (Jack) Daley Jr., age 94, of Stratford, passed away January 27, 2021 in his home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Edna Daley. The founder of Daley Construction Company where he worked and played hard for over 50 years. Jack was a member and served as President of the CT Remodelers Association. A proud WWII Navy Veteran, serving in both the Mediterranean and Pacific Theaters. He was a longtime member of the Trumbull Lions' Club and a lifelong member of the Pootatuck Yacht Club in Stratford, CT. Boating was his passion, sharing many adventures with his family. A man of colorful language and stories always entertaining those around him. He is now in heaven teaching the angels the proper way to make an Old Fashioned, no sugar and extra bitters. He was predeceased by his wife Carmella De Stefano Daley and his brother James Daley. He is survived by his children John Daley III and his wife Mary, Kevin Daley and his wife Sue Haynie; his six grandchildren John IV and wife Ashley, Robert and wife Lauren, Caitlin, Jill, Kevin II, and Kyla; his 4 great-grandchildren Robert, Drew, Perry, Georgia; a niece Linda Napolitano and a nephew Phil Napolitano. Services will be private. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
