Joan M Reeves

Joan M. Reeves, age 88, of Trumbull, passed away October 26, 2022, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Reeves was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Edward and Margaret Laffey. Joan grew up in Maspeth, Queens and worked at Welbilt Stove Company where she met her husband Colin before moving to Connecticut. Mrs. Reeves was active in the community as a member of the Trumbull Junior Women's League and the Gaelic-American Club. She enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, and traveling to her favorite locations of Myrtle Beach, SC and Cape Cod, MA. 
Mrs. Reeves was predeceased by her beloved husband Colin W. Reeves.

She is survived by her devoted sons Kevin and his wife Kathleen McMellon Reeves and Patrick and his wife Pamela Toomey Reeves; three cherished grandchildren Gavin, Emma and Aileen

Friends  are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull, CT. Interment in Long Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPSA  (ASPCA.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (Alz.org).
