JoAnn M. Cryoskie

JoAnn M. Cryoskie, age 78, of Shelton, CT, passed away March 9, 2026 in her home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Francis and Ann  (Balazs) McDermott. 

She was a corporate receptionist for inRange in Shelton for many years. JoAnn enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts and vacationing with her husband in Maine. She will be greatly missed for her engaging smile and her incredible sense of humor.

She is survived by her beloved husband William Cryoskie, her sisters Pat Freeland and Frances Copeland and her husband Robert and her brother Dan McDermott and his wife Faith and many loving nieces and nephews to whom she was affectionately known as Auntie BoBo.

She was predeceased by her brother- in- law Morris Freeland.

Friends and family are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at  11:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. Burial to follow at Huntington/Lawn Cemetery South. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
