Jean May Krevis

Jean May (Wallace) Krevis, age 80, of Bridgeport, CT passed away September 2, 2021 at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Center. Mrs. Krevis was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Wallace. She was a professional hairdresser and cosmetician for many years. She attended banking school and worked for the Department of the Treasury for over 13 years.

Jean was extremely dedicated to her family and their traditions.  She loved to cook for the holidays with her grandchildren and family. She was very creative and enjoyed gardening, painting and shopping.  In her earlier years she was very active in her neighborhood and her children's school, serving as brownie scout leader at Edison School and hosting many neighborhood gatherings. She will be greatly missed by all who know her.

Survivors include her devoted husband of nearly 60 years Joseph Krevis; two devoted daughters Arleen and her husband Michael Alessie and Gerri Potash; two cherished grandchildren Michael and Joseph Alessie.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 406 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT with the Reverend Kathleen Mills officiating. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd.
