Jay Emerson Topham

Jay Emerson Topham passed away peacefully at Griffin Hospital Hospice on Thursday, May 11, 2022. Jay was born to Ellen and Arthur Topham on September 16, 1927 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Jay served in the Army in WWII. He was an industrial engineer and retired with a short stint in real estate. Jay met his wife Joan Mullins in 1948. They married on June 10, 1950, had a double wedding with Joan's sister Marilyn and Bill Powers. Jay and Joan had three children, Lee-Ellen, Mark, and Lisa. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 169 Black Rock Turnpike, Redding, CT 0896. Burial will be private.
