Janet C. Petitti

Janet Carol Petitti, age 83, of Shelton, peacefully passed away on October 9, 2021 at Connecticut Hospice. She was born on Dec. 25th in Bridgeport to the late Knute and Karin (Lindman) Carlson. She worked many years for Dr. Maliska and then Dr. Farens as a medical assistant/office staff. She also worked as a receptionist for 27 years at Lord Chamberlain in Stratford. She enjoyed visiting with the patients, volunteering her time to bring smiles and joy to their lives. Janet was a kind and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid shopper and loved her cats.

She is survived by her husband Ronald of 62 years, her children Gary Petitti and his wife Angela of Shelton,

Kurt Petitti and his wife Kimberly of Oxford; her sisters Beverly Wolfe of NC, and Linda Evans of Ansonia,

six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Petitti; her brothers Robert and Eric Carlson. Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
