Hopeton Lee affectionately called Pixley, age 77, of Trumbull, CT went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2021. He was born in Mount calm, St. Mary Jamaica, West Indies to the late Sidney Lee and Justina Collum. He graduated from Xavier high school and quickly tried to establish himself. He was a true entrepreneur in every sense of the word. Some of his career highlights included being a firefighter, soldier and owning a security company for 15 years. He met his lovely wife Cynthia Lee in the year 1969. The family jokes that his nicely ironed suite and confidence caught her eye. They were wedded February 4, 1987 in a private ceremony. He emigrated to the United States of America in 1996 after the tragic loss of his son. He continued to explore careers in security and sales. He however was most proud of his grandchildren despite all his career accomplishments. He loved them dearly and often gave them candy against the wishes of their parents. He loved to teach them about God and share his life knowledge. He was deeply spiritual and was involved in many religious programs. He was a passionate reader of the Holy Bible and enjoyed discussing politics and many social issues. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years Cynthia Joyce Lee; his stepson Lynden Brown, his loving daughters Audrey Lee-Gooden, Alethea Lee and Leanna Lee-Sydnor and several cherished grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Hugh Lee.
Funeral services will be private.
