Grace Marie Terita

Grace Marie Terita, 92, of Trumbull, CT, passed away on February 6, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Devon, CT, to the late Frances Taylor. Grace was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Trumbull PTA, eventually serving as Office Manager for the Connecticut State PTA. She was an active member of St. Catherine of Siena Church for 50 years, where she served on the Ladies Guild, as a CCD teacher, a choir member, and part of the Rosary Makers. She enjoyed gardening, baking, bowling, playing with her grandchildren, and was best known in her neighborhood for playing with her Irish Terrier, Ginger.

Grace was predeceased by her husband, Robert Stephen Terita, and her sister, Susanne Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Joan (Steven) Hong, Jill Terita (James Blumel), and Robert (Diana) Terita. As well, eight cherished grandchildren, Andrew (Shannon), Alec, Olivia, Leah (fiancé Colin), Juliana, Isabella, Sophie, Bevin, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours from 9:30 to 10:30, Tuesday, February 11th, at Cyril F. Mullins (399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena (220 Shelton Road, Trumbull, CT). Burial will be private at Nichols Village Cemetery.
