Giuseppe Iemolo

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024 Giuseppe Iemolo of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest.

Giuseppe was born on March 6, 1924 in Ragusa, Sicily, Italy. 

Giuseppe met his beloved wife in a small town in Sicily. Together they had a daughter and moved to America in 1966. Bridgeport, CT became their new home where he was a machinist for over 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed working in his garden, making homemade wine and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 He was predeceased by his beloved wife Rosa DiStefono Iemolo.

Survivors include his devoted daughter and son-in- law, Rosann and Mike Liberatore of Trumbull, his grandchildren, Stacie Rich (Ron), Mike Liberatore (Gina) and Daniela Liberatore (Wil Torres), his great grandchildren: Ronnie, Tyler, Michael, Matteo and Santino, his brother Giovanni Iemolo, a nephew and several nieces.

He was predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Carmelo Iemolo (Concetta), Jennie Corallo (John), and  sister-in-law Lina Iemolo.

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
