Gerald "Jerry" Millbauer Sr. age 81 of Easton, beloved husband, father and "Poppy", passed away March 6, 2024. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Harold and Leontine Millbauer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene Frasco Millbauer; and children Wendy Hauswirth (David), Gerald Millbauer Jr. (Taylor), Christine Franklin (Thomas), and Angela Annuzzi-Rivera and their families; his twin sister Patricia Roberto, brother Kenneth Millbauer (Evelyn), and numerous nieces and nephews.
A proud Marine, Jerry served as a crew chief for HMX-1 during the Eisenhower Administration. He was an entrepreneur owning various businesses throughout his life but best known for Jerry's Upholstery Inc. which is celebrating 60 years in business this year. Jerry was an avid fisherman and spent many days on the water with family and friends. He loved spending time sharing his mechanical expertise with his grandchildren, teaching them how to fix all kinds of things, playing chess and watching women's basketball, Go Huskies! He will be remembered as a storyteller, mentor and a great friend to many.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Monday, March 18 from 4-7 pm at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, March 19 at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame of Easton Church, 655 Morehouse Rd. Easton, CT.
