George M Fraina

George M. Fraina of Trumbull, beloved husband and father, passed away at the age of 86 on October 15, 2020. He was born on October 26, 1933 in Bronx, NY at the home of his parents Marco and Josephine. He was the youngest of seven children. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosemary (DeFini) Fraina and his daughters Georjean and Chistine. He was predeceased by his six siblings. George was an army veteran who worked at the Pentagon in the mid-1950’s. After an leaving the service, he worked for many years at Bunker Ramo in Stamford and Trumbull. He also served his community as a longtime member of the both the Trumbull Lions Club and the Civitans.

George enjoyed annual vacations with family, especially to Walt Disney World, and many long weekends with his wife at Mohegan Sun Casino. He was an avid sports fan, and particularly loved watching his favorite NY teams: the Yankees, the Rangers and the Giants, as well as the UConn Huskies women's basketball team. He was a kind hearted man who loved animals and never had a cross word for anyone. He will be deeply missed.  Services will be private. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F.
