Gary Anthony Paulin Jr.

Gary Anthony Paulin Jr. passed away surrounded by his loving wife and family on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was 43 years old. 

Gary was born on October 10, 1981 to Karen Elizabeth Paulin and Gary Anthony Paulin Sr. in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He graduated in 1999 from Shelton High School. He met the love of his life Mariann Paulin while camping in his teens and they married on August 29, 2014. 

Gary was full of charisma and humor and he had the uncanny ability to make friends just about everywhere he went. He was a devoted husband, a loving brother and uncle, a loyal friend, and the best dog dad in the world to his best buddy Monte. Gary LOVED games of all kinds (especially dice games), going to the casino and his favorite Monopoly Go. Gary was also an avid lover of sports, playing little league baseball as a young child. He was often found rooting for his favorite sports teams the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Mets and during their seasons. 

Gary is survived by his wife Mariann Paulin, his sisters Jennifer Padilla and Sarah Paulin, his brother Adam Paulin, nieces Lillian, Violet, and Brooklynn, his best buddy Monte, and many friends. 

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church,  220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull, CT. Burial will be private.

Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
