Gail F. Cristiano

Gail Frances Cristiano, age 77, of Huntington, passed away on August 19, 2022 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. Gail was a lover of animals and all things nature. She loved the ocean and the sun. Gail had a particular fondness for birds and the many cats that she so lovingly cared for. She loved others unconditionally and believed in the power of kindness. As a secretary for most of her career in the Town of Easton and for the First Selectwoman in the Town of Westport, she was an excellent speller. 
The proud daughter of Frances and Daniel Horney. She is survived by her loving husband James Cristiano of Huntington, her children, Jacqueline Mary Vitale of Easton, Daniel Mark Cooper of Seymour; her grandchildren Sarah Gail Cichon whom she helped care for and her husband Christopher Cichon, Kiefer Robert Cooper, Ethan Thomas Lucian Vitale, and Jesse Mathew Kelb.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Huntington. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. To leave an online condolence please visit www.mullinsfh.com
