Frederick B. Spadaccino Sr.

Frederick B. Spadaccino Sr., age 81, passed away April 25, 2025. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Salvatore and Evelyn Spadaccino.

He graduated from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service. He also attended LaSalle University.
Fred was a licensed funeral director, serving  as past president of S. Spadaccino and Sons.  He was a member of CFDA, NFDA and the Sons of Italy.

When he retired his favorite pastime was cheering his grandsons on at their sporting events.

He is survived by his loving children Salvatore Spadaccino and Diana Cortello and her husband Louis, the mother of his children Sandra Spadaccino, his sister Marianne Godfrey and her husband Henry, his cherished grandsons Louis Cortello Jr. and Anthony Cortello, his sister-in-law Michelle Spadaccino and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Frederick B. Spadaccino Jr., his twin brother Patrick Spadaccino and his brother Salvatore Spadaccino.

The family expresses their gratitude to everyone at Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes for their care and compassion, especially his aids, including, Robert, John and Michael.


 Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. to the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Burial will be private.
