Francis (Frank) Fertelmes Jr.

 Francis (Frank) J. Fertelmes Jr., age 95, of Stratford, CT passed away December 30, 2025. Mr. Fertelmes was born in Bpt., CT to the late Francis and Hazel Fertelmes Sr. He graduated from Warren Harding High School. Prior to his retirement, he worked at City Lumber Company.  Frank was a former member of the East End Yacht Club. 

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean (Haggar) Fertelmes and his grandson Christopher Sawyer.

He is survived by his devoted children Donald and his wife Judy Fertelmes and  Karen and her husband Andrew Hovan; three loving grandchildren Jennifer Hovan-Brown and her husband Tony Brown, Brendan Hovan and Stephen Fertelmes, his cherished great-granddaughter Brielle Grace Brown and several nieces and nephews. 

Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment will be private.

 Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1- 2 p.m.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital of New England, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
