Francis (Frank) Bowser passed away on January 25, 2026 with his daughter by his side. He was born in Bridgeport, CT and loved his roots in the city's East End. He was one of the original "East Enders." He was the son of the late Walter L. Bowser and Anna Bowser.
He was predeceased by his son Bryan M. Bowser, his brother Walter (Scoopie) Bowser and two sisters, Eleanor Bowser Pivirotto and Anna Bowser Haggerty.
Frank was an inspiring soldier in the U.S. Army. He was with the 11th Air Assault Division as well as the special forces and was soon promoted to Sergeant. Frank was very patriotic and a very proud veteran. He was often seen sporting his U.S. Army shirts and hats with outstanding pride.
His property acquisitions were taken to great heights when he and his son Bryan worked together. His greatest joy was when he was with his daughter Dawn, his son Bryan and wife Rosemarie along with his phenomenal grandchildren Jason, Justin, Nick, Abbey and Nate. Frank idolized the time spent with his wife Rosemarie of 59 years (together for 65years) and became inseparable throughout the years. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He always put his family first. He enjoyed our Wednesday night family dinners together with Frank cooking most of the time. At 70 years old he became a realtor in the Real Estate world and at 72 years old he became a broker. He enjoyed this added accomplishment to his repertoire of successes.
Frank is survived by his wife Rosemarie (Franchi) Bowser, his brother David G. Bowser and his wife, Nancy, his daughter, Dawn Marie Bowser Brown, his five grandchildren Jason Brown, Justin Brown, Nicholas Bowser, Abigail Bowser Smith and her husband Bailey, Nathaniel Bowser and several nieces and nephews.
Frank will be missed by all, but especially by his family.
