Evelyn Marie Morley

Evelyn (Newmayer) Morley, age 93, of Trumbull, passed away December 27, 2020.  Evelyn was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Louis and Evelyn Newmayer. She was a retired secretary for General Electric. She traveled the world extensively and enjoyed many fun trips with her husband Floyd over their forty years of marriage. She was a member of the St. Theresa Confraternity of the Rosary and was a member of the Quarter Century Club at General Electric.  Evelyn was an avid reader who enjoyed completing crossword puzzles. She was an excellent baker and loved baking pies and cookies year round for friends and family. 

She is survived by her beloved husband Floyd Anthony Morley, four stepchildren Karen Morley and her husband Robert Breault, Kathleen Misset and her husband Thomas, Michael Morley and his wife Marilyn and Daniel Morley and his wife Catherine; eight step grandchildren Kellyn, Kristen, Karly, Raena, Rebecca, Julia, Jacqueline and Sean.

The family expresses their gratitude to all who helped Evelyn achieve her wish to remain at home including the Stratford V.N.A., St. Vincent's Wound Center and the caring and compassionate Little Angels Home Care employees Gina, Allison and Natasha. 

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Thursday 12/31/20 at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull, CT.  Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport will be private.  At the request of the family calling hours have been omitted.
