Eugene Richard Ferraro, 92, was called to his eternal rest on July 13, 2024. Born on August 8, 1931, in Bayshore, Long Island, the second child to, Amilcare and Aurelia Ferraro, is survived by his older sibling, Louise Gunderson, of Green Valley, AZ. Eugene grew up in Copiague Long Island, a graduate of Lindenhurst High School. Attended, St. Bonaventure University, graduated with a BA, in 1953, he went onto serve in the US Navy Reserve for 2 years as a Navy Corpsman, 3rd Class Petty Officer.
In 1956, he married Patricia M. Fullan, and Eugene’s career brought them to Trumbull, CT, where he and Patricia raised their 2 children. Eugene had a long successful career in International Sales, retired 1997, and moved to Stuart, FL, and made many friends there and spent his final years at Addington Place, in Stuart.
Eugene grew up on the water, and was happiest fishing, with friends and family, also an avid golfer, and hunter. Eugene loved the outdoors. Eugene was loved and will be missed by many; survived by his daughter, Jeneen, along with her husband, Thomas Malone, of Clinton, CT, and Thomas’s children; Laura Pinkham, her husband Jeff, their 2 children; Xander, and Isabelle of Walpole MA. Kelly Viens, her husband Raymond, their 3 children; Zachary, Natalie, and Lacey, of Clinton, CT. Thomas Malone, Jr. and his fiancé, Cortney Sullivan, of Madison, CT. Eugene is also survived by his niece, Victory Tischler-Blue, and her spouse, Dr. Patricia Brotman, of Palm Springs, CA; and beloved relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT on August 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. where he will be reunited with his parents, Jeff, his son, and wife, Patricia, who preceded him in death.
