Elissa Rodriguez

 Elissa (Johnson) Rodriguez, age 72, of Bridgeport, passed away September 12, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Bridgeport CT and was a proud lifelong resident. She was a direct care provider at Ella Grasso Regional Center for many years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Rodriguez was always willing to help those in need. She was extremely dedicated to her job and was a volunteer E.M.T. for the Stratford EMS for many years saving countless lives. She was very compassionate and generous of her time for friends, family members, neighbors and even individuals she had never met if they were in need. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving children Luis Rodriguez and his wife Evette, Pedro M. Rodgriguez II and his wife Melissa, Dominica Rodriguez and Ramon Antonio Rodriquez; cherished grandchildren Nina, Luis, Patrick, Emajae, Jamie, Christina, and Jahkai, great grandchildren Jace, Anthony, Noah, Jovan, Pedro Jr, Madrick, Nadia, Amia, Genesis, Julius and Roslyn and her sister Elaine.

She was predeceased by her brothers Carl, Arthur, Robert, Donald and George and her former husband Pedro Rodriquez.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT.  with the Rev. Dr. M.  Todd Shipley officiating. (Masks are required). Interment will be private.
Friends may greet the family from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
