Edwin N. Carlson Sr.

Edwin N. Carlson Sr., age 77, of Derby, CT passed away September 20, 2023. He was born in Columbia, SC to the late Grenville and Mary Carlson.

He loved shopping with his grandchildren, spending time with his loved ones, travelling, and enjoying time with the love of his life.

He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran. Edwin is survived by his beloved wife Irene (Walsh) Carlson, four devoted children Edwin N. Carlson Jr. and his wife Jonie, Justin Carlson and his wife Ivy, April Colon and her husband Tony, and Eric Carlson; his twin brother Theodore Carlson and his wife Linda, and his sister Carol Doak and her husband Alan; eleven cherished grandchildren Charleigh, Joelle, Edward, Ella, Ethan, Ava, Olivia, Georgina, Alexander, Averi, Ashlynn, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Directly at St. Joseph's Church, 50 Fairmont Pl, Shelton, CT. Interment to follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, North Ave. Bridgeport, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnels To Towers Foundation (T2T.ORG). Arrangements in care of the Cyril F.
