Edward L. Kowalkowski Jr., age 60, of Brookfield, CT, passed away March 17, 2025, with loved ones by his side. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Ed and Doris Kowalkowski. Growing up he watched his father grow the family business. In 1990, with the passing of his dad, Ed became the owner/operator of Boston Garage. He worked seven days a week; nights, weekends, & holidays to ensure the legacy his father left to him. Driving a tow truck was something he did with expertise & true enjoyment. The only thing he enjoyed more than towing was racing. Although being a business owner was demanding, whenever the opportunity arose, he would jump in his Chevy and get to the track. Ed was known for many things; his love of cars, music (particularly the drums), WWII history, and his memory. Ed was the family historian. His memory was like no other. Although he lived a short life, Ed made a major impact on those he chose to let in his circle.
He is survived by his girlfriend Marjorie Anderson, his aunt Beatrice Jocis, his cousins Mark Jocis and Lisa Jocis Mostafa, many cousins and his close circle of friends. He was predeceased by his parents & uncle Daniel Paul Jocis.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. The committal service will be held on Tuesday, March 25,2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Nichols Village Cemetery, Cemetery Rd. Trumbull, CT.
