Douglas C. Shackett

Douglas Charles Shackett (age 67) peacefully entered eternal rest on August 24, 2022 with his loving wife, Lisa (DeClement) Shackett by his side. He was a current resident of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
Douglas was a devoted, loving husband, father and grandfather, loved by many. 
He was the son of the late Francis and Jacqueline Shackett of Milford, Connecticut. 
Along with his wife Lisa, Douglas is survived by his Aunt; Mary Lou Szigeti, siblings; Gary Shackett, Michael Shackett, Arthur Shackett, Tracey Shackett, and predeceased by his brother, Francis Shackett. He will forever be missed by many including his daughter; Jazmine Jones, son-in-law; King Jones and his three granddaughters Bryanna, Milana and Mya whom he adored. 
Douglas had a sense of humor that was memorable, he could make anyone smile.
He will always have a special place in our hearts therefore we ask you to join us in the celebration of Douglas’ life which will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611. Friends may pay their respects on Friday morning from  8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.  Douglas will be laid to rest immediately following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull, CT 06611.
